We strongly believe in the benefit of drama in a child's development and that school is the perfect place to introduce children to performance and theatre. Theatre Arts Academy offer schools a range of excellent value, Drama In Schools packages.
Our most popular packages work towards a performance for parents, which can offer schools the opportunity to cover costs by ticket sales. Each of our packages is tailor made to meet the specific requirements of each school we work with. With our original production scripts and music pupils will love to perform and adults will love to watch.
Residencies
Our Drama In Schools packages are suitable for all ages and abilities and offer good potential publicity opportunities for your school, as local papers are keen to capture events like these. We will take the time to listen to your individual needs and ensure we deliver the best service possible at fantastic value.
School Productions
Helping with your School Production. We can offer help at every level, from a full package including scripts, costumes, rehearsal direction, choreography & music; to a low key advisory role, assisting teachers with directing and rehearsal planning. Whatever your school needs are, we can help you to produce a performance that you, your staff, your pupils & their parents can all enjoy & feel proud of.
We can also help with supplying costumes and props.
Workshops
(Available In acting, dance or Musical Theatre) Can be whole day or half day workshops, helping pupils focus on a special topic, project, festival or event. These can be organised to compliment books or subject being studied as part of the national curriculum.
After School
We also offer lunch time and after school clubs in acting, dance or musical theatre, team building, confidence & communication workshops, suitable for all pupils or staff.
